ARTIST AT LARGE at The Columbus Museum of Art

So excited to be a part of The Columbus Museum of Art’s Artist at Large Program! Catch “FIBER WAVE” beginning November 17.

What would it be like if interiorwear reflected the very essence of its environment…if the artist listened to the environment where the piece would be placed before it was created…and if the creation itself were made from materials containing positive energy?

Fiber Wave is interiorwear mindfully created for public spaces. It is sustainably and ethically made, using fibers from happy sheep and alpaca living on Ohio farms and naturally dyed using foraged materials from around Columbus.
This work is a ripple effect – A Wave – representing the impact that design can have on our consciousness towards our surroundings.

It asks us to wonder about the textiles that surround us, and to question how much of a connection we have with our environment.
A special group of pieces within this collection reflects the Columbus Museum of Art by incorporating meaningful sound captured within its walls.
